Apple’s annual “Back to University” program is back. It is currently live and will continue until March 7, 2022. Apple is giving away AirPods to teachers and students who purchase eligible Macs or iPads. This offer is available to students and teachers.
You can get it on select devices such as MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and iPad Air. Apple will give away the second-generation AirPods free of charge, but interested customers can upgrade to AirPods Pro or third-generation AirPods. You will need to pay an additional fee to upgrade to newer audio products.
Customers can currently get Mac and iPad models at educationally discounted prices from educational stores in Australia and South Korea. The same offer is currently not available in India. However, Apple’s official website states that customers can save on new Macs or iPads with Apple education pricing.
The Cupertino giant also offers a 20% discount on AppleCare+ protection plans. This offer is only available in the mentioned countries. The free AirPods offer is available to those who are located in these countries.
First, customers will need to add an eligible Mac/iPad to their cart. After that Apple will offer the option to add AirPods. This option will be available during checkout. According to the Apple official site, this offer is available to current and recently accepted university students, parents purchasing for students, teachers, and staff at all levels.
