Everyone needs smartphones these days but certain behaviors can damage it. Now let’s take a look at seven everyday bad habits that can potentially kill your phone and reduce its lifespan.

7 Bad Habits That Are Destroying Your Smartphone

1. Ignoring Software Updates

That update which bothers folks many times gets dismissed by the simple stiffness of the finger using the ‘remind me later’ tab. But failing to update them is like leaving your car on the road without having it tuned up sometimes. Most of those updates include bug fixing and security enhancements. Some of them can make your phone more susceptible to attacks or maybe even slow down your phone. Thus, taking time to perform those updates is a good idea, but it is still a little uncomfortable.

2. Overcharging Your Battery

Keeping your phone on charge for the night might sound comfortable, but it is similar to encouraging a child to eat as many sweets as they want. Little by little, this “treat” turns into battery degradation and sooner or later this element will become a problem. Of course, it is recommended to remove your phone from the charging point once it is fully charged and charge it again when it discharges to approximately twenty percent. This all sounds a little like how you would feed a rechargeable batter a healthy diet.

3. Full Storage Space

Everyone has heard about the proverb that which states that one cannot give what he or she does not have. This applies to storage too. Frankly speaking, if the storage of the Smartphone is full, then, the usage experience is spoiled and, moreover, the particular apps may stop working at all. Delete images and applications that you do not need, and clear your computer’s storage so that it functions efficiently.

4. Leaving Apps Running in the Background

Having several apps open might seem fine, but it is the same as inviting many friends to your home. It can bog down your phone. It is easier to close any application which you are not using in other to make your device function well. Set it free and let it run like a real well-meaning machine.

5. Not Using a Case

It’s amazing how much you rely on your smartphone, but no matter how durable they are, they’re not invincible. Not using a case is like dancing on a balancing wire without a security blanket. Just one little slip means a cracked screen or the destruction of your precious phone. A worthy case or screen protector will help to protect the phone from harm that it may not necessarily have to endure.

6. Skipping Regular Backups

So from now on, let’s imagine the data we’re working with is a chest of some kind. Saying you do not make back up you may just lose all your important data in one event of an accident. Sync photos, contact information, and any other data you deem important at least occasionally. This will make certain that even when your phone decides to pull a runner – for good – your cherished memories won’t be gone.

7. Excessive Internet Browsing and Downloads

Web surfing is entertaining, but when it comes to downloading, it may bring viruses that endanger your telephone. It’s like welcoming strangers into your home; you don’t know who may be let in Often use familiar websites only and be very cautious while downloading.

Wrapping It Up
